Sources

The tools use standard definitions and static, versioned datasets. They do not invent rates, query live sources or present estimates as official figures.

Unit conversions use standard International System, US customary and imperial definitions implemented in the conversion engine.

Country data —such as time zones and reference tables— ships with a versioned manifest and an official source. Each tool states the validity of its data.

The included time-zone table is a static 2026 launch dataset and stops being authoritative after 2026.

Finance tools show their formula, assumptions and limits on the page itself. They do not use live exchange rates, interest rates or quotes.

When a required table is not loaded, the tool says so and refuses to show a number rather than computing one from false data.
